About RalphRalph has served since 1980 as an Anglican minister, first in Sydney’s West and for 26 years in the Anglican Church Southern Queensland. He was Rector (Senior Pastor) of St Stephen’s Coorparoo (an evangelical Anglican ministry) in Brisbane from 1990 to 2009. He then took up the direction of a church health development project using Natural Church Development (NCD). From 2009 to 2017, 40+% of Anglican parishes in Southern Queensland used NCD tools to work on their health in areas critical to growth potential. With repeated use of NCD surveys and tools, with support, about 30% of Anglican parishes moved their church health significantly upwards to above average in Australian terms. This meant tangible and measurable improvements across a range of church life issues such as preaching, evangelism, faith, Bible reading and small groups.
Out of this NCD Project also arose a new emphasis on coaching leaders and churches through a Coaching Program which is being implemented.
