Frequently Asked Questions
The course is broken up into two parts. Live webinars running for 8 weeks and self-paced content that you will have 12 months access to.
You must attend 6 of the 8 live webinars. At the end you will complete a multi-choice exam to achieve your certification.
Yes, upon successfully completing the multi-choice exam you will receive your certification. This enables you to assert that you have completed the ‘Wealth with Purpose Money Coach Certification’. You cannot claim to be an employee or representative of Wealth with Purpose.
A Christian Money Coach helps individuals and families manage money using both biblical principles and practical strategies. Instead of selling financial products or investments, you guide people in areas like budgeting, debt reduction, saving, and giving. Your role is to bring clarity, confidence, and faith-based accountability so your clients can handle money God’s way.
A financial planner usually works with higher-income clients who want investment advice, retirement planning, and insurance products. A Christian Money Coach, on the other hand, focuses on everyday money decisions such as budgeting, saving, debt management, and financial habits. While planners manage wealth, you equip people to get control of their finances, often long before they are ready for traditional planning.
Yes. Studies show that over 70% of families live paycheck to paycheck, and many Christians want financial help from someone who shares their values. Most people will never work with a financial planner, but they need someone to guide them through budgeting, saving, and biblical stewardship. That is where you come in as a Christian Money Coach.
The live component of the course takes 8 weeks and at the end of that you can complete the exam to become certified. However you have access to the self-paced content for 12 months, and can take the exam later, but within the first year of enrolling in order to become certified.
Yes. The Christian Money Coach Academy teaches biblical stewardship and practical money habits such as budgeting, saving, debt reduction, giving, and goal setting. These apply to families everywhere, because scripture does not change from one country to the next.
You are training as a money coach, not a licensed financial planner, so the content is not tied to any one country's tax rules or financial regulations. Students join from a range of countries, learn the same proven system, and go on to serve people wherever God has placed them.
You can complete the training with about three to five hours per week. This makes it possible to learn while still working your job, running a ministry, or caring for your family. The flexible format is designed to fit into your life.
New intakes for Christian Money Coach Academy open a few times each year. Our next intake starts on Monday, October 5, 2026.
Yes, upon completion you will have the option to join our Coaching network (for a fee) that involves ongoing support.
No. Financial planners and Christian Money Coaches serve different audiences. Financial planners help people who already have investments or wealth to manage. As a Christian Money Coach, you serve the majority of families who need practical guidance to manage their daily finances and align money decisions with their faith. In fact, planners often refer clients to money coaches when they are not yet ready for investment services.
Not at all. You don’t need to be a financial expert or a long-time Christian. Many students come from other fields. If you’re willing to learn, apply biblical principles, and serve others, you’re a great fit.
Yes. Many students start by tackling their own debt, building savings, and learning stewardship for themselves. As you see results in your own life, you’ll be equipped to help others do the same.
