Start a Multiply Group
Love people? Love discipling others? Then perhaps starting a Multiply Group is for you. We provide all the tools and resources you need to get you started to run an effective and influential multiply group!
Starting a multiply group can be a great way to give your friends and colleagues at Church a turbo-charged start into the world of personal finances. Our Multiply group study guide will address all the major biblical themes and principles around money, as well as covering contemporary issues that are relevant at the time of the group meetings. Furthermore we provide the practical tools & solutions to apply in the life of all participants. It can be a very exciting time as people experience the transforming nature of God’s word and a sense of relief as they learn to master their personal finances.
Multiply groups are run by facilitators in a small group setting. If your Church doesn’t yet have a Multiply group then you start your own and become a facilitator. We provide you with all the material you need. Participants purchase a “multiply group workbook.
You can run a group in any format you wish, although typically they run in these formats:
- Home Groups
- Men’s & Women’s Groups
- Breakfast Meetings
- Weekend groups
- Whatever you want to create
Generally a group of 6-20 people will get together to discuss the topic from the workbook. Depending on how often the group meets, you can work through each topic on a weekly or fortnightly basis. There are 10 topics in total for the group to discuss. Each participant should 10-15 minutes preparing for each week’s topic using the preparation section of the workbook. The facilitator should spend at least 30 minutes preparing each week using the Facilitator workbook that contains suggested answers and discussion points to ensure the meeting flows. At the conclusion of the topic discussion, there should be time for personal sharing, prayer and accountability.
The objective of the group is to provide financial discipleship. However what this really means is that you are helping each other to provide real world biblical solutions to real world problems. It is also to inspire and encourage each other in living out holy Christian lives specifically in the area of personal and business finances.
Do you need a special skill to be a Facilitator?
No. You just need to be passionate about the word of God, personal finances and love helping others. We will help you do the rest. Our Facilitator’s Guide provides you with all the tools to run the group, specifically:

Can a Multiply Group be used for Outreach?

Follow the steps below and in no time you will have your very own Multiply Group:
- Organise a group of people together to fill your Multiply Group (we recommend a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20, although the sweet spot is probably around 10).
- Purchase the Facilitator’s Guide from our online store
- Get individual participants to purchase the Multiply Group Participant Workbook online from our store. For ease and reduced distribution cost, it is suggested you buy these in bulk as a group rather than individually
- Set the day of the week that you want to meet
- Go for it!
